For one thing, the actual colors are more intense than those shown on my own screen, through my browser. For another thing, a monitor's rendition of colors probably isn't very accurate, as you've probably discovered when you last shopped for one and saw several in a row, all driven by the same video card but rendering distinctly different tones.
If it matters, we'll be happy to snail-mail you the actual card or send you samples of specific colors you have in mind. Please remember that dyeing cloth is still not an exact science; there is often some minor variance between the sample colors and the cloth the mill actually ships us.
We heartily recommend that you make the canopy of a white-ish color to improve the lighting inside the tent, while reflecting much of the heat energy. Our favorite white is the "Navajo White" for a period-looking (i.e., non-bleached) cotton canvas look, or "Bone" for a flax or hemp canvas look. WARNING! The "White" is really, truly blinding white ... just like a sheet of paper. It shows dirt really, really well ...
We also recommend that you make your door panels and valence with a darker color, since these areas get handled the most and therefore get dirtier faster.
