Shareware Programs

For many years our bulletin board, 24th Street Exchange, was known to be one of the best places to find shareware programs and files. Today shareware is still available, but through web sites. Here are a few that we like.

Stroud's CWSApps
Stroud's Consummate Winsock Applications is one of the best sites to find Internet related programs. He maintains links to software developers' web or ftp sites, so the files are always up to date.

TUCOWS
The Ultimate Collection of Winsock Software is another good site for Interent and related programs. If the above link is busy, try the main TUCOWS site for a directory of other mirror sites.

Shareware.Com
C|Net's Shareware.Com is a good place to locate and download any shareware program. You'll go through quite a few menus to find the program, but eventually you'll connect to an ftp site that has what you're looking for.
